REQUIEM(To He Who Was Too Minty) is a 30 minutes contemporary dance piece and interventionist performance. Born out of Richa’s trip to London in the summer of 2025, it engages with party spaces as active sites of the uncanny. Using a requiem as a choreographic proposition, he brings the dead and the living into conversation. Through the repetition of mundane movements, he establishes a shared language among the performers, transforming them into a single, moving, sweating bodie. Through the dramaturgy of the piece, the artists question the dynamics of the relationship between spectator and performer, and challenge the imperialistic nature of theatre as an institution.

REQUIEM (to he who was too minty) est une pièce de danse contemporaine et une performance interventionniste d’une durée de 30 minutes. Née du voyage de Richa à Londres durant l’été 2025, elle aborde les lieux de fête comme des espaces actifs de l’uncanny. En utilisant un requiem comme proposition chorégraphique, il engage le dialogue entre les morts et les vivants. Par la répétition de mouvements banals, il établit un langage commun entre les interprètes, les transformant en un seul corps en mouvement, en sueur. À travers la dramaturgie de la pièce, les artistes interrogent la dynamique de la relation entre spectateur et interprète, et remettent en question la nature impérialiste du théâtre en tant qu’institution.
